First post of 2007!-claps & cheers-
Update update.
FUEL's had our very first camp last month! It was terribly last minute-ly planned but it turned out great! We did get relatively positive feedback. 2nd successful achievement after last year's D&D! Jarvis did an awesome job. -three cheers for Jarvis!- Although we had a miserable number of 20 people, it was good enough. We bonded all the more(:
The following week was Lenten Reflection. It was such a draggy long day. Many people came late(!), but at least they came. The CTK facils came too! The weather in the afternoon was unbearable. And yet, we headed down to St Joseph's Church to do the Stations of the Cross using the life sized sculptures. It was an eventful outing nonetheless. Back in Holy Spirit, we had the washing of feet as well as an re-enactment of The Last Supper. That followed with a Taize Prayer in the Chapel. It was a real eye opener for many of us as we have never been for a Taize before. Many thanks to Auntie Mary, Eadelin, Angelina & Jervis! Auntie Mary directed the Taize. Eadelin was our pianist while Angelina sang! I can't quite remember what Jervis was doing =/ That day ended at 8pm.
The next day was the soccer match between the Con 4s & Con 5s(or FUEL). A number of us went down to support the guys! Despite 3 pretty major (& very ugly) injuries, we won! Was it 5-4? Well, whatever it is, we won still!
And finally, FUEL is officially going to begin
weekly Fellowships every Friday evening. The first Fellowship will commence on the
13th of April at
8pm. The venue has yet to be decided.
God bless(:
& we hope to see everyone soon!
